SHINES LIKE GOLD! The art of working on the Golden Grass (Capim Dourado, in Portuguese) comes from the indigenous ‘Xerente’ people who inhabited the region of Jalapão. Highly skilled in the art of weaving, the craftsmen have passed on this knowledge from generation to generation. Today, it is in the hands of the ‘Mumbuca’ women, a matriarchal community living in the Jalapão region. Very trendy in Brazil, this highly prized herb for artisanal creation is a novelty establishing itself in Europe.
